Primary resources planning

Illegal downloading interview
I plan to do one to one interviews with people through camera.
At the moment I’m thinking whether it’s best to do it through vox pops or in-depth interviews in my interview people may feel uncomfortable answering my questions because it has a lot to do with law. So I may have to blur there faces to keep privacy or make it unfocused for the whole body.. I would interview a different range of people
• Old people
• Young people
• White people
• Ethnic minority
• Wealthy people
• Not so wealthy people
• Boys girls

The questions I will ask for example are
1. Why do you download illegally give 3 reasons and arrange in order
2. Do you download every artist or is there still some you will go out and buy
3. Do you think the music industry is doing enough to stop it
4. If it came to a point where there wasn’t any access to downloading and you had to buy would you
5. When is the last time you bought a C.D

This website is reliable because the information given is not opinions only
Facts that are explaining a situation

01.10.10
In the begin of the lesson I went on intute website Where to download music illegally. http://www.intute.ac.uk/
Reliable because the website is specifically there for study and research
Therefore it must only have information the website creators feel is
Accurate.
01.10.10

And the trends/ statistics of illegal downloading over the years http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrGdyQhp-bU

http://www.google.com/trends?q=illegal+music+downloading&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all

Happen rather than what actually is going to happen.

I think this one may be reliable there’s no hard evidence to make me think so
Except the fact that the information given on this website offers a service
Rather than giving you there opinion on something so for that reason I
Would say it’s reliable.
08.10.0 Webopedia This is about understanding when it actually becomes illegal. http://www.webopedia.com/DidYouKnow/Internet/2004/music_downloading.asp
This is most likely not reliable because anyone can come on this website
Add there opinion and send it off as the truth.
8.10.10 Google trends This is showing statistics through graphs on the rise of downloading http://www.google.co.uk/trends?q=illegal+downloading
This is reliable because it’s all statistics. However I don’t know where they
Are gathering this information from so I’m not sure if it is a reliable
source
8.10.10 YouTube Podcast from Stephen fry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCk9Cheiqqg
The podcast from Stephen fry is his opinion on something its reliable
Opinion though cause he is a respected well read man so what he is saying
You would assume is for good reasons.
8.10.10 Google blogs Opinions of people about streaming http://www.coolfer.com/blog/
No this isn’t reliable it’s a blog with people just discussing an issue
8.10.10 Media guardian Info on Stephen fry http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/jul/13/stephen-fry-hugh-laurie

8.10.10 Telegraph Illegal on reaching its peak. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/markets/2813135/Illegal-music-downloads-hit-record-high.html
I think this is reliable because its from a reliable newspaper the ‘Telegraph’
And it’s offering statistics about the rise in something.
8.10.10 THE INDEPENDENT THE CONSEQUENCES OF ILLEGAL DOWNLOADIN http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/features/illegal-downloading-what-happens-if-youre-caught-1736013.html
The independent is another reliable newspaper they are giving laws on
Illegal downloading.

This is reliable source re-enforcing the laws down to stop illegal
Downloading

BBC Illegal music downloading is hear to stay http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/2636235.stm
This is someone opinion on why illegal music is hear to stay because
Of this I would say it isn’t reliable its not about facts or information
